is one of only three marine reserves in The Canary Islands. This dive site was classed as a site of special scientific interest by the European Union on the 28th of December 2001.
This marine reserve consists of 4 different entry points which make it possible for every level of diver to dive over here. You will notice that every dive site is very different and surprising. This is one of the reasons why it’s one of the most popular places!
Every dive will surprise you because of the volcanic bottom composition. That means a lot of caverns, swim troughs, holes, caves, drop-offs, arches… Because el cabron is a Marine Reserve, boat traffic and commercial fishing are not allowed in the area.
